Holiday thoughts

Post  ChasingSanity on Thu Dec 02, 2010 1:36 pm

I started emailing this out but don't remember who some of the names are attached to. This way nobody gets forgotten and even strangers can get in on the action!

NOT that I'm lazy BUT...
I'm combining my giving thanks with rejoicing in Christmas, winter solstice and the end of this year / beginning of another year magic. Life from death but it's not really 'Death', the end and beginning all wrapped together.

I'm grateful
a) my wallet was found (it's being sent to me in Galveston, TX) after being lost for a month.
b) I got my passport I am headed for the coast! Oh wait, I am on the coast. I'm riding the Gulf coast Highway to Key West, FL THEN work on ships up north, along the East Coast and cross over to Europe (Ireland).
c) I'm still alive and healthy after being on the road for over a year.
d) for all the wonderful people I met so far and eagerly look forward to years more.
e) that through my adventures so far, my sense of wonder and appreciation for Life (Life, this amazing gift) is growing in leaps and bounds.
f) for... after grateful for Life... hard to beat that one
g) for the opportunity I made and I took to be a positive influence in so many lives. I feel I am part of your life and you part of mine.

:hugs:
