Ergonomic Bicycle Seat

I did a lot of planning, brainstorming and research before I ever left Las Vegas.

One of the things I researched was a bicycle seat, an ergonomic bike seat. This bike seat or saddle looked the best to me - the design makes the most sense to me. What was available, what features, was there anything better than what I already had? If I came across a bike seat or several bike seats, which would be best for my purposes and why? Was there anything I could do to make sitting more comfortable?

This bike seat or saddle looked the best to me - the design makes the most sense to me. The other ones put something running from your butt down your leg, kind of like having two small bike seats, one on either leg. But they do not take into account the shape of your butt or the bones. This one, the Spiderflex seat looked like it was "form follows function".

I got the help of a local banker to get the phone number of the broker shipping out the seats in Pembina, ND. I called, got the phone number of the company, Spiderflex, itself and called them. I spoke with the owner and told him what I was about. riding my bicycle across the world, gotten interviewed several times and going to get a lot more media attention, could I have one of the seats? The answer was yes. Spiderflex is my first bike sponsor!

My educated guess was right, these bike seats are more comfortable. They work with bike riders who sit straight up, not with the hunched over racers.
