People ask me if I have a cause. I am the cause. I am touring the world on my bicycle. I am doing it my way - very little damage to anyone or anything, a whole lot of thoughtful creativity, loving detail, depth of vision and Otter fun! I am learning politeness, worldliness and continuously explore both inner and outer, gain self and wisdom. I used to see people who lost hope, purpose and reason to live. The life and light and exuberance had gone out of their eyes and souls, just like mine. People who lost their job, home, business, family... something precious. I wondered then how I could help them. Now, I was them. I lost my job, set down my marriage and gave over my home. How could I survive AND succeed, help them AND me all at the same time? Since then, I have seen many homes for sale on the same block, many vacant store fronts, many vacant faces. People tell me what I am doing inspires and excites them, imagine how I feel. Helping all of us, everybody facing challenges, is my cause. WE are the cause.
